2008 marks the 5th season for the
Sydney Roosters Junior Cheersquad and the introduction of the Intermediate Cheersquad !!
This year we are introducing a Intermediate Cheersquad for 14 - 16 year old girls. This squad will have the opportunity to dance with the Senior Cheersquad at selected NRL games as well as guard of honour, sideline cheers and acrobatic stunts.Our entertaining Junior Cheersquad for 6 - 13 year olds, returns in 2008. This year the Junior Cheersquad will be displaying their talents on the sideline at every Sydney Roosters home game held at Aussie Stadium.
To be selected for the Sydney Roosters Junior & Intermediate Cheersquads, students must attend the weekly cheerleading classes. In addition to their cheerleading class the Junior & Intermediate Cheersquad members attend a weekly rehearsal.So look out for the Junior & Intermediate Cheersquads, cheering on our Roosters in season 2008!

Cheerleading classes

Junior & Intermediate cheerleading classes are conducted by fully qualified dance and acrobatics teachers at J J Cahill High School,Mascot on Wednesday afternoons. Students learn dance routines using pom poms and incorporate acrobatics and acrobatic lifts into their routines.

All students will have the opportunity of performing at 2 Sydney Roosters home games this year.
